Digitized Spot Calligraphy

What is spot calligraphy? 

Spot Calligraphy refers to text, usually on an invitation or other piece of printed material, that is highlighted in calligraphy to provide a contrast to the surrounding text elements. 

Common spot calligraphy is done for the names of the couple on a wedding invitation. Other common uses are for menu headers, venue names, and titles for invitation pieces (such as "Save the Date"). 

I will work with you or your stationer to provide beautifully custom calligraphy for your needs. All calligraphy is written by hand, then digitized in a process known as vectoring that will enable you to incorporate the calligraphy as you and your designer see fit.

Two Full Names -  $100

- Two first, middle, and last names

Return Address - $175

- Up to four lines of text

Single Text - $20/word

All spot calligraphy requests include two complimentary rounds of edits. This is a digital item; no physical items will be sent. Your calligraphy will be delivered to you in a high resolution file that will contain a PNG and a PDF of your final design. 

General processing time is 1 - 2 weeks.
